ManaMetrics Privacy Policy

This privacy policy describes how ManaMetrics ("the app," "we," "us," or "our") handles your information. ManaMetrics is a match-tracking and analytics app for trading card game players, available on the Apple App Store.

The short version

• Your match data never leaves your device unless you export it yourself.
• We do not require an account and do not collect your name, email, or contacts.
• The free version shows banner ads served by Google AdMob, which may collect device data as described below.
• Purchases are processed entirely by Apple; we never see your payment details.

Information stored on your device

Everything you create in ManaMetrics — matches, decks, opponents, tags, events, life-tracker sessions, notes, and voice notes recorded with your microphone — is stored locally on your device only. We do not operate servers, and we cannot access, view, or recover this data. Deleting the app permanently deletes this data unless you have exported a backup.

Backups and exports

You may export your data as JSON or CSV files from the Settings screen. These files are created on your device and shared only where you choose to send them. You are responsible for any copies you make.

Microphone

If you record a voice note for a match, the app uses your microphone with your permission. Recordings are stored only on your device and are never uploaded anywhere by the app.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

The free version of ManaMetrics displays banner advertisements served by Google AdMob, a third-party advertising service operated by Google LLC. To serve and measure ads, AdMob may collect information from your device, which can include:

• Device identifiers (such as the advertising identifier, IDFA, if you grant tracking permission)
• IP address and coarse location derived from it
• Device type, operating system, and app usage information related to ad delivery (such as ad interactions)

On iOS, ManaMetrics asks for your permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt before any cross-app tracking identifier is used. If you decline, you will still see ads, but they will not be personalized using your advertising identifier. You can change this choice at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

Removing ads

You can remove all ads with a one-time purchase or a monthly supporter subscription. Both are processed by Apple through your Apple Account. We do not receive or store your payment information. Purchase entitlements are tied to your Apple Account and verified on-device through Apple's StoreKit framework.

Data we do NOT collect

• No accounts, names, email addresses, or passwords
• No contacts, photos, or precise location
• No analytics or behavioral tracking by the developer
• We do not sell your personal information

Children

ManaMetrics is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Ads are served through Google AdMob in accordance with its policies.

Your rights and choices

• Access / export: use the built-in JSON or CSV export at any time.
• Deletion: use "Erase All Data" in Settings, or delete the app.
• Ad tracking opt-out: decline the tracking prompt or turn it off in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
